根付を水に漬けると変色する恐れがあり、水に漬けて比重を求めることは出来ない。
３Dスキャナで根付の形状を測定する。
測定した形状データを用いて解析ソフトで体積を求める
求めた体積と質量から比重を計算する。

If netsuke is immersed in water, netsuke may be discolored, therefore it is not possible to determine its specific gravity by immersing it in water.

Specific gravity measurement method ;
Measure the net shape with a 3D scanner.
Obtain volume with analysis software using measured shape data
The specific gravity is calculated from the obtained volume and mass.
